Chet Phillips - is passionate about business intelligence
and the value of a company's data. He is currently the Vice
-President of Information Technology for Classic Residence
by Hyatt. He was recently the Director of Information Technology
for Business Intelligence at Motorola Inc. Chet had responsibility
for the coordination of business intelligence tools across
Motorola's diverse, global businesses. During his 20-year
career, he has been instrumental in numerous early implementations
of distributed computing such as: e-mail, local area networks
and personal computing activities. He has implemented and
managed large-scale global financial systems in highly mission
critical environments. Recently, he played a leading role
in the integration management of a pioneering, single global
ERP instance. Chet's no nonsense, customer focused approach
to business intelligence has been featured prominently at
Supply Chain World in Atlanta, Gartner's BI Symposium in Chicago,
Intelligent EnterpriseBPM conference in San Francisco, and
Adaptive Supply Chain in Sydney, Australia in 2003. In June
2003, his IT-business team won the 2003 RealWare Award for
"Best Strategic Business Performance Management Application."
In addition, his BI views are featured in Intelligent Enterprise
Magazine's February 2004 issue. Business Intelligence Strategies
is no longer a consulting company but rather a loose confederation
of global IT and business professionals that are pushing the
